I dabble in all sorts of art including painting, sculpture, clothing design and customized props to support my love of cosplay. My namesake character is my favorite and I cosplay him in both his anbu and shippuuden canon appearances. I design and make most of my cosplays. Some are based on characters from a specific anime and I try to recreate them as close to canon as possible. These include Killer Bee (Naruto), Jimmy Gibbs Jr. (L4D2), Shishio (Kenshin), Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden), Brock (Pokemon), Kurenai (Naruto), Desert Punk, Hisoka (Hunter x Hunter), Kuranosuke (Princess Jellyfish), Kensei Ma (Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple) and Gojyo (Saiyuki Reload). I also create originals cosplays that are loosely rooted in my lifelong loves and inspirations like the years I spent seeing the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the movies at midnight or some of my favorite songs like A Pirate's Life at 40. Other future planned cosplays are Kimmimaro-Stage 2 Curse Seal (Naruto) and Nicholas Wolfwood (Trigun).
I design and make all my own cosplay outfits and props. I've made cosplays for my friends including Charizard, Bastoise, and Venusaur and I've done props for my friends to support their Kingdom Hearts (keyblades), L4D2 (incindiary ammo and defibulator), Hidan's scythe, Stocking's sword, Weiss Schnee's sword and shoes, Mad Moxxi's hat, Dante's sword, and Chip Skylark (guitar) cosplays.
I've done acrylic and oil paintings for friends and frequently paint my cosplay outfits and props. I don't consider my work to be of professionaly quality, but I think it's acceptable for cosplaying.
I occasionally make cosplay music videos. Some of them include Bromance, Time Warp, Call Me Maybe, Sexy and I Know It, and Pretty Fly for a Might Gai. I perform annually at YaoiCon as "Bishounen Kakashi".
You can see more of my cosplay work by friending me on my "kakashi.shishio" FB account or on my Bishounen Kakashi FB account (if you're a yaoi fan).
